NOURISHING THE SACRED FEMININE

I’d like to share a simple practice that nourishes my feminine nature. I love the song “Ave Maria”  beautifully and reverently sung by Celine Dion. I created a Playlist that repeats the Ave Maria for an entire hour. Played softly in the background, it sounds like an angel is singing the Rosary. It opens my heart and focuses me on the Divine Mother.

At other times, I listen to Benedictine Sisters singing Gregorian Chant. The sweetness of the female voices in adoration gives me the feeling of being in the community of sisters while living in the world.

You can hear the Ave Maria on Celine Dion’s album, “These Are Special Times”. “Voices:  Chant From Avignon” (standard CD album) is the recording of the Nuns of Notre-Dame.
